Fall is coming

pic from last year

I'm actually excited for fall.

This might sound weird coming from me, who hates (!) the cold, rain and darkness. But this fall is going to be different, and I'm choosing not to get down over the fact that the sunny and warm days are mostly behind us. We are lucky to have four different seasons in my opinion. Once spring comes after a long cold winter, it's such a magical feeling of appreciation and "rebirth" haha. My favorite season is spring, for that very reason, and because summer is still ahead.
Fall is such a beautiful season, when you actually look at it from a little different perspective.
Here's why:
I love wearing cozy and warm sweaters again! Not to mention hats, gloves and boots. Movie nights have never felt so good as on a chilly fall night, wouldn't you agree? Drinking hot chocolate by the fireplace is also kind of nice haha.. The leaves and nature is so beautiful in fall. It's still a bit early to see that here, but it will happen soon enough!

Another thing to cope with the cold and darkness I recommend and will be engaged in is trying new things / do more things that you love. It might sound obvious and cliché, but it is so true. One, if not my biggest passion is traveling. Now that I'm not as tied to a nine-to-five-schedule, I will take advantage of it by taking at least two different trips. None of it is booked yet, but the planning has started. I'll keep you updated. ;)

I will try new things in the form of new hobbies. For the time being, I'm not sure which one yet, but you'll know eventually. I want to try out new group classes at the gym, because they have launched lots of new ones. If you're a member of a gym, grab a friend or two and try some brand new ways to workout! You might just be surprised.. ;)

My gym also relaunched its yoga-classes which makes me super happy, because they're of really good quality and I love going to yoga minimum once a week. I feel so stiff at the moment, so all the stretching will come handy, lol.

Lastly I want to say; try finding beauty in every season. Because it is out there, all you have to do is open your eyes. ;) x
